Aporia describes that moment when our thoughts trip over themselves, when certainty slips away and we're left standing at the edge of the unknown. For most of us this feeling of uncertainty feels uneasy as our nature pushes us toward answers, making us eager to know, to interpret, to classify and to settle. When we meet something we cannot yet understand, we tend to fill the gaps with our stories and then treat those stories as facts. However, this state doesn't have to lead to such dead ends, in fact it is that space between what we know and what we can't yet explain where wonder begins to stir and curiosity takes root, giving birth to truly revolutionary ideas and innovation.

We are living in an extraordinary age, a time full of dazzling discoveries and inventions, yet also an age of deep confusion. In the span of a few short decades, our understanding of the world has redrawn the boundaries of what it means to be human. As a species we have become like a vast, ever-expanding collective mind, evolving through millennia of thought and imagination. We have constructed simulated digital realms, where knowledge travels at a speed that we cannot fathom. Information pour into our minds until it feels as though we are drowning in oceans of ideas. This rapid expansion risks losing the clear, quite space needed to recognise what is true and truth is something that requires stillness, contemplation and focus.

By using fashion as a way to communicate, we aim to translate as many of the experiences and ideas that the world throws at us into physical forms. In this journey together, we will take a step back, to move with a slower and more deliberate pace. By embracing the state of aporia, the willingness to admit that we don't know everything, we seek to explore the intricate layers of our human condition, our hopes, contradictions and the mysterious yet wonderful universe that surrounds and shapes us. We have chose fashion because it's a universal form of expression, everyone, everywhere, wears something but in our unique ways and customs. Each of our collections will act as a chapter in an ongoing exploration, a meditation on uncertainty, meaning, existence and what it means to be human.
